Biography
Anna Milena is a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona, Spain, working with a wide range of mediums including acrylic, oil, watercolor, graffiti, and alcoholic inks.
Entirely self-taught, Anna's artistic journey began not in art school but in childhood, through a natural love for crafting, storytelling, and color exploration. She began painting using art as a deeply personal channel for emotional expression and self-discovery.
Her intuitive process is rooted in emotional honesty— each color and texture a reflection of inner conflict, joy, and transformation.
Painting became a way to give form to the unspeakable,
and to access a state of childlike play, free of ego or rules.
Without formal training, Anna embraces a nontraditional approach to materials, often pushing their boundaries to create vibrant, textured works that defy categorization. Her pieces are driven by instinct rather than intention—each one unique, with no fixed style or formula. What unites her work is its raw emotional energy and fearless experimentation.
