‘facets of me’
‘Facets of me’ represents the sides I show openly and the once only my closest people see. Vibrant colors capture my bubbly, friendly nature, but they also carry the weight of feeling too loud, too visible, and pressure to wear a mask. The pastel tones reflect my quite, introverted side. yet they also speak to moments when I’ve repressed myself, the fear of not fitting in and the need to dim my light. This piece is about accepting that all these facets are valid and can coexist within me.
